Danaia’s Bedroom by SaudadeSims

This bedroom set is for my sweet deelitefulsimmer! It was supposed to be her birthday gift, but real life took over and I wasn’t able to finish it in time (her birthday was on September 12th). Danaia is Dee’s first name, and I love it, so I named her set Danaia instead of Dee :)

All the new meshes have the correct LODs and shadow meshes. All have custom thumbnails.

The headboard has 8 slots, but I couldn’t get the lamp to sit on any of them, maybe the mesh is too narrow? I just use wall lights behind the headboard, it looks cooler anyway :)

I split the bench and the chair up into two packages apiece because 60 swatches is too many, I think. So you can choose colors (6 different colors combined with each wood texture) or neutrals (4 different colors combined with each wood texture) or you can have both, there’ll just be two different entries in the catalog. 

Some of these items have relatively high poly counts. Sorry about that :( If you run on low settings or if your computer is slow I’d be careful with the chair especially. The chair, the lamp, and the cat wall deco are higher poly than recommended. Caveat Emptor!

I have used @peacemaker-ic‘s tutorials and updated this set for the toddler patch. The seating should now be able to be used by toddlers. The mirrors should place without trouble also. The file names are the same so just place the updated files in your mods folder and let them replace the old files.


This set is for my lovely @deelitefulsimmer’s birthday! Today is her birthday and she requested a living set. This is my first set that includes couches and they are tough! 

There are 12 new meshes including couch, love seat, chair, end table, bookcase, coffee table, plant stand, fireplace, TV stand, lamp, shelf mirror, mirror, and a set of retro recolors of my Augusta Artwork.

Today is my sister from another mister’s birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY melbrewer367!!!!!! I love you!!

For her birthday I made 3 recolors of the “Barnish Bed” and took away all that detailing, making the wood look flat. I also made two recolors of the “Simplicity Nightstand,” one plain white and one with watercolor triangles. Same for the “Simple Symmetry Bookcase” and the “Zes Horizontal Dresser.” In addition I recolored Angela @ TSR’s Victoria living sofa to match (three versions). 

Mel is kind enough to say that I can put this up for everyone to download, and I will, but I think it would be nice to wait a week or so, so that she has time to be the only one that has them for her birthday week.

Join me in celebrating her birthday! If it weren’t for her kindness and helpfulness, I most definitely wouldn’t be able to create for this game. She is loving and hilarious and a definite asset to our simblr community! Love you, girl, and I hope your birthday is as beautiful as you are!

The curtains in this set make me happy. I love them. They are my favorite thing I’ve ever made. I’m trying to get them to be able to take alpha so I can make some sheer ones, but those aren’t done yet. Soon, I hope. They are cloned from a poster so they don’t snap to windows, sorry to those of you who prefer snapping curtains!

Hello my fellow simmers!

I’ve been wanting these bathmats FOREVER, so I asked saudade-sims4 to mesh some for me. Since I’m a spoiled brat, and I get whatever I want, she of course said yes. So a huge shout out goes out to my soul sister. These really are her labor of love. I just recolored them hehe!

Holy Simoly’s Seychelles Bathroom and Ocean Grove Shower Converted by Saudade Sims

This is my favorite bathroom of all time so I had to convert it. All the meshes and textures belong to the fabulous Holy Simoly. I didn’t add any of my own recolors to this set, all the textures are the originals.

I did have to make a few changes to the first mirror. The original had a vase with flowers and a soap dish and a stack of soap bars wrapped with string. These were created using an alpha layer and I couldn’t get a base game mirror to work with the alpha layer so I removed the decorations instead. Then I had the bright idea to add slots to the mirrors but whenever I tried that S4S would crash (I’m sure it’s something I was doing wrong!). So in the end I just left them plain and used bb.moveobjects on and the 9 and 0 keys to place objects on them. 

Actually, the easiest way I found to place objects was to turn on MOO, place a wall shelf at the correct height using *alt* (place it so it’s next to the area on which you want place an object, not directly on it, but so that it’s level with the ledge you want to use) put your object on the wall shelf and then pick it up and *voila* the object is the exact height you need.

I also removed the decorations from the towel shelf and made an empty one so that you can put whatever objects you want on it. As of right now though, it doesn’t have any slots (I’ll update it when S4S makes it easier to add and move slots) and you have to use the same cheats you used on the mirror to put things on it. Sorry :(

In addition, I converted the Ocean Grove shower because even though it wasn’t actually a part of this set, I always used them together.

The in-game design tool works with everything except the mirrors.

I’ll be doing the rest of the Ocean Grove and Driftwood sets soon.

SaudadeSims conversion of HolySimoly’s La Boheme set.

I have missed this set since Sims 3 came out. These are not *my* meshes!!! These were made by some of the most talented Sims creators that have ever graced our community, Flem and Shtinky of HolySimoly fame. All I have done is convert their meshes and use their textures to make these work in Sims 4. That said, it wasn’t easy because I had to edit some meshes so the height will fit and it was necessary to edit all the bedding a lot because Sims 2 bedding will not fit a Sims 4 texture map. 

So here’s what you get:

  • 10 Colors of the Wooden La Boheme Double Bed

  • 10 Colors of the Wooden La Boheme Single Bed

  • 10 Colors of the La Boheme Armoire

  • 10 Colors of the La Boheme End Table

  • 10 Colors of the Iron La Boheme Double Bed

  • 10 Colors of the Iron La Boheme Single Bed

  • 12 Colors of the La Boheme Double Bed Skirt (Valance)

  • 12 Colors of the La Boheme Single Bed Skirt (Valance)
  • 12 HolySimoly Beddings on OM’s “Sofia Selectables” Mattress


All the woods are the original La Boheme textures except I edited 3 to make plain white, plain black, and plain gray/ash/light brown so you get 10 instead of 7 color choices

The iron texture is also the original HolySimoly texture, but this time you get 5 original textures and 5 recolored by me for 10 total

The bed skirt (valance) textures are all from HolySimoly, I didn’t recolor these. I made the single bed skirt mesh by altering the double mesh.

The bed frames have been separated from the mattresses.

The bedding is from various HolySimoly Bedding downloads, there were only 3 La Boheme bedding textures, so I included ones from “The Elwood”, and “Sendai” because I like them and miss them ;) These are on OrangeMittens’ “Sofia Selectables” mesh so your sims won’t walk through them. 

The end table and the bedding can both use the ingame design tool, but I had to combine all the other objects using S4S so you can’t use the tool on those. 

I didn’t make single bedding with these textures, sorry. 

Everything has custom thumbnails, yay! :)

Hi, just wondering if there's a way to get the "Mel's Bedroom" Dresser to work? Currently when it's placed on a lot it can't be clicked/used.

You will need to run it through the Sims4Studio CC batch fixes. I’ll get around to updating all my cc and reuploading one of these days but I can’t say when. Until then it’ll work if you just run it through the tool.
